Out of Nowhere Blur Just Dropped a New Song and Video — "Go Out"

And it's not shit! And there's a new LP out this April!

What. The. Heck. Three's a trend! Blur made like Bey and Drake and dropped a brand new single and video called "Go Out." The band doesn't feature in the video, but rather this appears to be some kind of cooking show-cum-karaoke hybrid. But what is she making? WHO CARES! This song is great—classic indie-pop on the wonk with Graham Coxon's trademark angsty guitars. A song all about going to the pub by yourself. Or "the local," as the English say.

And it looks like they're releasing an album—The Magic Whip—on 4.27. It'll be their first with Coxon since he split from the band back in 2002. Ever since Blur started doing all those reunion shows back in 2008, we've been waiting for this moment, and now, seven years later, it's finally arrived! Woo-hoo!
