Let's be frank, there are like maybe five bands with flutes that aren't totally cornball / stupid / whatever. Maybe even four? Whenever I hear it, I always think of that scene from Anchorman and it totally weirds me out. Blood Ceremony is actually one of the good guys though, an honest to god ripping 70s psych band that peppers their hard rock stylings with the instrument. It comes off like the devil's pied piper as opposed to the softest instrument in marching band. Flag team included."Let It Come Down" is the first single from the band's LP of the same name due on June 24 via Rise Above Records. It's a groovy, psychedelic romp that rips, and is streaming below. Check it out and thank me later…. it's a burner.
