Belvedere's Music Video Project Kicks Off with This New Video for Zeds Dead's "Demons," Directed by Benjamin Millepied
The Music Video Project
By Noisey Staff
When you think of meteoric electro acts, you probably don't consider A-list French ballerinos to rank on the list of potential collaborators. But thanks to Noisey and Belvedere Vodka's new Music Video Project, unlikely creative duos now have the opportunity to forge an audio-visual experience that is completely unique and unlike anything you've ever seen before.
The Music Video Project is an ambitious new endeavor that pairs musicians with non-traditional music video directors, and we're kicking it off with two artists that are as prodigious as they are different: Canadian production duo Zeds Dead and award-winning choreographer/dancer/actor Benjamin Millepied, most widely known for his work in Black Swan and being the only man to put a ring on Natalie Portman.
The Millepied-directed video for Zeds Dead's "Demons" is a surreal, nightmare-inducing hat-tip to MJ's "Thriller," and is the first in a six-part video series of top-shelf collaborations to come.
Don't forget to head on over to Belvedere's Facebook page for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video and an interview with Benjamin himself.
