Listen to the Hottest Rap Records from Houston in BeatKing's New Compilation 'Houston vs. Everybody'

Houston been popping. It's time you paid attention.

One of my favorite times in music is whenever the collective rap fannagentsia decides it's way too far up its own ass and begins looking away from whatever cities it's focusing on and starts reaching outward and upwards towards, embracing regions and styles that, for reasons sometimes infrastructural and sometimes because rap fans are pack-like idiots who hate change, have been overlooked for certain en vogue sounds and cities. Which is to say, fuck all that other shit, let's get some Houston up in this motherfucker! BeatKing, your friend and mine, was kind enough to assemble this compilation of the hottest records in his city, including cuts from Propain, Maxo Kream, BeatKing himself, plus two tracks featuring the mighty Paul Wall and Slim Thug, spitting vintage SwishaHouse flows. Additionally, keep an eye out for Sauce Factory, who are uniting north and south Houston, which is sort of an unprecedented move as far as geographical crew alignments go. In closing, H-town been popping. It's about time you started paying attention.
