Listen to the Debut EP from Baggage (ex-The Swellers)

Five songs of melodic punk from the Michigan band about facing your mental health issues.

You might recognize Jonathan Diener as the man behind the drums in The Swellers and Breidedveins (or you might also know his writing from the very popular website Noisey). Now, he’s moving front and center for the new band Baggage. The Michigan band is about to release a debut EP, Cheaper Than Therapy, and you can listen to the whole damn thing below.

Cheaper Than Therapy sees Diener deals with mental health issues over some melodic and often chuggy riffs. You can buy the EP for the sweet price of pay-what-you-want right here. Diener also suggests hitting up nami.org if you’re in need of help.
