As Blur and Gorillaz legend Damon Albarn prepares to release his first solo album, he sits down with the man he says made it all possible. Richard Russell runs XL Records (Adele, Radiohead, the xx) and is also an esteemed producer who has worked with Damon on a bunch of projects, including co-producing the recent Bobby Womack record and now Richard has produced this record 'Everyday Robots.' Here, they talk about the making of that album, becoming the next Wham and bumping into Brian Eno in the shower.

In the latest in the ongoing Back & Forth series, metal god Matt Pike of Sleep/High on Fire sits down with comedian Rob Delaney on a recent trip to Los Angeles. The pair met to discuss hard hitting topics that ranged from newly minted sobriety to bulldozing guitar riffs to kale and cholesterol, taking many stops in between.
