Last night on Conan, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird performed a brand new single titled "Capsized." This bluesy number is Bird's latest original song since the release of his 2012 record record, Hands of Glory. Today, he followed up the performance with news of a new record titled Are You Serious, featuring collaborations with Fiona Apple and Blake Mills. The forthcoming LP will be available as part of a deluxe box set bundle containing the Are We Not Burning? The Devolution of Capsized, an additional seven-inch, and a book containing art work for each track, all to be released on April 1.Bird has also announced an upcoming 2016 world tour with a full-band beginning in Europe on February 2015.
