Meet AHBS [pronounced: abz], a duo comprised of Billy Scher and Aharaw. They’re two downtown club denizens (the latter is a founder of NYC party mainstays the Good Kids) with big ideas, at least when it comes to igniting dirty dance-floor maneuvers. Drawing on their backgrounds—Scher and Aharaw hail from NYC and Buenos Aires, respectively—they make tracks infused with equal parts barbecue-ready dembow grooves and slinky downtown club postures.

In their words, AHBS projects “visions of summer, sex, and herbal lifestyles… with hopes of creating a bridge between NYC and Latin America.” Their latest tune “En Tu Casa,” which we’re premiering below, embodies that mission statement and more. Over a sweaty house beat equipped with cowbell, woodblocks, and fluttering claps, rapper Dick Van Dick trades bars with Aharaw half in English, half in Spanish about all the ways he’s going to rock your house from the inside out. Sassy put-down of the week: “I’m in your mom’s…walk in closet.” I reached out to AHBS to talk about Green Day, guilty pleasures, and selling weed at Ben & Jerry’s.

Noisey: First time you ever got in trouble?
Aharaw: I have only been in trouble four times in my life: twice with my mother and twice with the NYPD.
Billy Scher: For walking over a frozen tidal river. In hindsight, it makes sense.

First job?
We both scooped at Ben and Jerry’s. The manager sold weed from behind the counter in Half-Baked to-go containers. Classic hippie shit.

First kiss?
Aharaw: Though I had a few tiny ones prior, I remember deciding that this was “it” after school on a bench at the soccer field, dandelion florets floating all around us.
Scher: I’m saving myself for marriage ;)

First music that changed your life?
Aharaw: Green Day's Dookie is the first album I can remember being obsessed with. It was 1994. I was five years old.
Scher: Beck's Odelay. I credit that album with showing me that possibility of combing any sound to create a song.

Favorite party you've ever been to?
Aharaw: Club Yes at Le Bain in the early days was the most fun I've ever had at a party.
Scher: Y2K New Year's Eve party… mainly because it was a relief that the world didn’t end.

Favorite dark corner of the internet?
Both: to.be

Favorite guilty pleasure?
Aharaw: Explore on Instagram.
Scher: Listening to the most recent Pop releases on Spotify’s New Releases page.

Favorite luxury items you’d buy if you could?
Aharaw: An apartment in Manhattan and whatever my BB wants ;)
Scher: A recording studio with separate control room, live room, and vocal booth.

Favorite physical texture?
Aharaw: Seltzer.
Scher: Fresh cut grass.

Favorite diva?
Scher: Teena Marie.
Aharaw: Kalup Linzy and Lafem Ladosha.
