A.Chal's 'Ballroom Riots' EP Sounds Like All of the DrugsBy Noisey Staff
Here's Ballroom Riots from the Los Angeles producer/rapper A.Chal, whose "On N On" we premiered a while back. More than anything, this EP sounds like the sonic manifestation of a billion late L.A. nights fueled by a metric shit-ton of drugs. Or, to get all critic-y on you, it sounds like dude ingested all the good parts of UK funky and dubstep, mixed it up with a little WEDIDIT collective and rapped like a sociopath. In other words, he is to hard drugs and bass music what Craig Finn is to bar rock.
